WOLFBURN Single Malt Single Cask 780 – Shin Group Limited Release

Wolfburn Cask No. 780 Shin Group Limited Release was second distilled in 2014, aging in quarter cask until bottling in 2019. The characteristic of quarter cask maturation is that the contact surface of whisky with the barrel is more, which allows the whisky to soak up flavor from the oak at a much faster rate.

～TASTING NOTE～
NOSE
Fresh and charming nectar, fruit fudge, buttery, lemon, and followed by a bit of hay note.

PALATE
Buttery, nectar, resin, followed by smoky flavor like hay, firewood, grilled squid and coal tar.

FINISH
Dry with sweet malt and smoky flavor like burning haystack at the finishing.
